Both our Castile Soap and our Two-Ingredient Lip Balm are made by Jana Kinsman, an urban beekeeper and honey producer in Chicago.
In the beginning, we leased a small olive grove in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was a beautiful place, and it provided a crash course in farming.
Many of our friends pitched in to help, none more than Jana. She was a huge boost: a generator of not only hard work, but also good cheer.
